Dr Hanh Nguyen


Hanh is a consultant Plastic Surgeon and Hand Surgery Specialist.  Hanh graduated from the University of Western Australia’s School of Medicine before completing advanced training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2000.  Hanh completed a Fellowship in Hand Surgery in the United States, where he is involved in a number of research projects in hand surgery, nerve regeneration and facial anatomy.  Hanh has presented nationally and internationally in both hand surgery and cosmetic surgery.
 


Dr Rob Love

Robert is a Specialist Hand Surgeon.  He graduated from the University of Melbourne Medical School before undertaking advanced surgical training in Plastic, Reconstructive and Hand Surgery.  He became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2001.  Robert trained and consulted at the Pulvertaft Hand Centre (UK), was the anatomy demonstrator at the University of Melbourne and an anatomy lecturer at Stanford University (USA).  In 2005 Robert received a Paul Harris Fellowship for his service to the community in reconstructive hand and plastic surgery.

 

Dr Ben Kimberley

Ben is an orthopaedic surgeon with particular interests in upper limb surgery, trauma surgery and arthroscopic surgery.  He completed his initial medical training at the University of Sydney, graduating in 1990.  Ben worked at Royal Perth Hospital until 1994, and then undertook a year of training at Warwick Hospital (UK).  Ben completed additional training through the Western Australian Orthopaedic Training Scheme and became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2001.

 

 

Brenda Hudspith

Brenda has been a nurse for 30 years, with experience in a range of areas including orthopaedics, plastics, casualty and paediatrics.  After training in the UK at North Warwickshire Health Authority, she completed an accredited course on burns and plastic surgery.  Brenda moved to Australia in 1989, and started working at Royal Perth Hospital in 2002, three weeks before the first Bali bombing.  She rapidly gained experience in wound care and disaster planning.

Brenda’s nursing experience has been varied, from the simple to complex.  She has treated many finger and hand injuries, including nerve and tendon repairs, skin grafts, free flaps, muscle flaps, amputated and reattached fingers and hands, skin cancers, and breast surgery.  Brenda’s broad ranging experience and skills is a forceful contribution in the multi-disciplinary environment.
